DOWNLAND WINS AGAIN

We have won four awards in the 2008 Taste of the West Competition.

The awards we won were GOLD for our Oak Smoked Ham, SILVER for both our Pancetta and Boerewors Sausage and BRONZE for our Sweet cure Free Range Ham.

 

 

Downland Produce have been producing high quality pork for 20 years in the rolling Wiltshire countryside. 

A few words about us....We are a family firm and we are very proud of our reputation for producing succulent pork from our own pigs.

Our breeding herd and growing pigs live outdoors in fields at Lacock in Wiltshire. They are fed naturally without the use of infeed antibiotics. 

David Wilkinson personally controls and monitors production to ensure the highest standards from conception to plate. The welfare of our pigs is paramount. 

All butchery and preparation is carried by ourselves at our Lacock premises. This way we can guarantee that all our products are of the highest standard and are fresh.
